Oluwa Cave has the similar setup as Philly's Hide Out - opening at the ceiling and etc. The initial idea was to have no artificial lights at all, because this cave has remained hidden for a long time and there were no ones taking care of this location.
We started having game play challenges right away, because players can't really spot Oluso, which is a black panther to fight.
As for the lighting team - we quickly suggested to implement light with candles for mystic look + military flares as lighting tools to light all Triada mission locations and made sure lighting color scheme remained as the same so that players are aware their locations. ( Just so you know - Having purple colored flare lighting in Mural cave was not lighting team's call :D )
I also made sure dark areas where no lights reach still being lit by some lights to have directional component to help players navigate those areas. All in all, it turns out ok but there are always something could have been improved...
